I am a media educator and workshop leader in the field of game design with children and young people.
My topics include active media work, dealing with the medium of computer games, creative media use, basics of game design for digital and analog games and game programming.
In 2006 I graduated with a degree in education and psychology. After that I started to study social science Japanese at the Free University of Berlin.
At the beginning of 2013, I got the chance to supervise all-day courses at various Berlin schools as a career changer and to work with the initiative Creative Gaming e.V.. Since then, I have been working for various sponsors and educational institutions in Berlin, among others. Through the constructive criticism of the students, I built up their lesson plans over the last few years, as well as my and their knowledge of the basics of making and using games.
I worked with the Starke Hände GgmbH, and Gamestorm e.V., co-direct the "Computerschule Potsdam" and participate in the organization and implementation of the PLAY Festival every year and work for the Initiative Creative Gaming.
Since 2020, I have been working at FEZ as a media education project manager for analog and digital cultural techniques.
